April 13, 2010Once upon a time at University of Portland I took a Soviet Russia class. (You would not believe how many hammers and sickles I drew in the margins.) It was a genuinely great class and we watched a series of incredibly informative videos, including one in which a soldier said that the day he finally got shoes was the best day of his life. Anyway, one of these videos focused on the USSR talking to other red-minded countries, and there was some old footage of Fidel Castro. It turns out he looks a lot like Liam Neeson.
A few weeks ago I finally submitted a picture comparing Liam Neeson to Fidel Castro. I wasn’t sure if they would do anything with it, but it is now a legitimate thing on the internet. Yay!
